Refund policy
Returns
Exchanges can get complicated; therefore, we only offer refunds. You can return items to us within 14 days of receiving your original order.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with all tags/labels intact. It must also be in the original packaging. A proof of purchase may be requested. Items that have been washed or worn cannot be returned. Items that have pet hair on them, smell of smoke, perfume or any other odour will not be accepted for return or exchange. Unfortunately, due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns on any hair accessories.
Before any return, please send us an email at hello@themodernest.com with your order number and reason for return.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. If you paid Cash on Delivery, refunds will be returned via bank transfer/deposit. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@themodernest.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded.
Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Shipping
You will be responsible for shipping costs associated with your return. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted.
Please note that we are not responsible for items that have been accidentally returned to us. If you want a returned package to be sent back to you, we may request that you cover the shipping cost.
